ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Domaine Rolet Pere et Fils
“It is a long-term evolution with the desire to maintain a precise balance between tradition and modernity as has reigned at the estate for 8 decades. Expressing the rich diversity of Jura wines and their identity has been the key word of the estate to achieve a level of excellence recognized vintage after vintage.” (domaine-rolet.com)
ABOUT THE VINEYARD: Montesserin
“Our Montesserin vineyard is located west of Arbois. It covers 10.93 hectares via different plots and surrounds a grove to extend to our cellar. On its soils of limestone marl and clay-loam, we find all the Jura grape varieties. The top of the mound allows you to observe the formations of the substrate, in this case the Middle Jurassic limestone, strongly tectonized, crushed and offering varied slopes. The Montesserin grapes produce, among other things, our Arbois white and red cuvées.” (domaine-rolet.com)
