“In 2012 the first vines were planted and the project Tres Raíces began. By 2016, the vines produced fruit for the first vintage, and the construction of the main building started. By October 2018 they opened their doors to the public with modern facilities to welcome tourism and more importantly, when the first harvest of their wines was ready for consumption and marketing. Tres Raíces is located in the heart of El Bajío, within the state of Guanajuato. Tres Raices promotes enology, wine tourism, gastronomy, and local development, together to delight each of the senses. ABOUT THE NAME: Tres Raíces means “Three Roots” in Spanish, and is named in honor of the owner’s three children.
